Post by Plutonium on Oct 18, 2008 23:26:24 GMT -5
The resistance is likely to attack three key targets.
---
New Phallica Detention Center - a significant blow dealt to this location will reduce the cylon's capability to imprison insurgents and free some members currently marked for death.
Cylon Storage - if a significant blow is dealt to this location, the launch keys for each grounded ship will be retrieved and escape will be easier for the population of New Phallica.
Cylon Headquarters - if this location is attacked successfully, the insurgents will gain an advantage should battle continue to tomorrow.
---
You may direct each of your members, plus six extra Centurions, between the two locations. Cylons will count extra for the purposes of defending a location, while Centurions will not count for as much.
Should your defense best the insurgent offense, you will not only keep the location, but eliminate the attackers chosen. It is possible to defend all three locations successfully depending on the actions of the offense.

Anyways, I think that their best choice at the moment is to go for the detention center - they're down to 18 players, and will lose at least 7 tomorrow, probably 8 if the vote goes our way again.

I'm assuming by Blarney's PMs and what he's posted in the thread, he can only choose 6-8 people to attack the locations. As Ares said, it's possible for us to defend all 3 depending on their choices of targets.
I'll have to look this over when I'm less tired and preoccupied.

I sent in my list to Blarney. He seems pretty lost right now.
On the same note, we're going to play some Rock Band 2 together this afternoon.

I've been chatting with blarney about the game.
He basically can assign all 14 alive and free players to attack. The cylon/collabarators won't attack, of course.
So he basically has ten players. We have two police, two cylons, and six centurions.
At this point, he probably is going to go for the detention center, though I'm not completey sure. We probably want to stick the majority of our defenses there.

I would recommend defending the Jail or Storage. They can't afford to lose any more people, and it's in their best interest to end it asap.

Man, if only we were able to implement a curfew for tonight. That would probably cripple them beyond repair. You didn't use your curfew ability the last time it was available (last night) - it's still available.

Post by Plutonium on Oct 19, 2008 20:36:58 GMT -5
I just got back from chilling with Blarney for a few hours playing rock band.
Anyways, their entire strategy at this point revolves around keeping their own members alive.
Blarney suspects basically everbody but us. Arasaki, Trust, Speedyswaf, anybody with votes on them. He, in fact, isn't averse to the idea of tying up the vote with two or three of them.
For them to win, they need to kill some of us. What we should do is concentrate ourselves at one location, using a token group of centurions to defend the others.
What we don't want is our members to die in combat.
I suggest that all of us and two centurions defend one location, probably the jail, and we stick two centurions at the other places.
